Uefa Euro 2012 on SER: A coverage without precedent

With a journalistic team made up of 90 sports professionals; the Road Show ´Everybody with La Roja´, a street marketing action carried out along with Telecinco in 19 Spanish cities; and the launching of the Interactive Carrusel Deportivo

The sports team at Cadena SER will be covering all of the Euro 2012 matches, making for a never seen before coverage, with Carlos Martínez, José Ramón de la Morena, Laura Martínez, Manu Carreño, José Antonio Ponseti, Juanma Ortega, Lluís Flaquer, Antonio Romero, Jorge Valdano, José Miguel González ‘Michel’, Kiko, Alfredo Relaño, Santi Cañizares, Andoni Goicoechea, Gerard López, Luis Moya, Jordi Martí, Marcos López, Tomás Roncero, Michael Robinson, Cayetano Ros, Ramón Besa, Julio Maldonado ‘Maldini’, David Alonso, Javier Herráez, Edu Polo, Dani Garrido and Pacojó, amongst others.

Listeners will be able to follow all the matches with Carrusel Deportivo, presented by José Antonio Ponseti and Juamna Ortega, along with the participation of Manu Carreño. The special editions of Carrusel will start two hours before the beginning of each game. As usual, Carlos Martínez will be the narrator of the national team encounters, while Lluis Flaquer and Antonio Romero will be in charge of the rest of the action. Furthermore, SER will have its own sports journalists to tell listeners all about the atmosphere on the field.

Beginning today and up to June 30th, El Larguerowill dedicate almost the entirety of its programming to the UEFA Euro 2012. After the quarter final, the program headed by José Ramón de la Morena will broadcast live from whichever place Spain´s national team might find itself.

From Monday through Sunday, news about Euro 2012 will also enjoy a relevant position in the rest of SER´s programming: during Hoy por Hoy, the weekend shows, the news hours and during the UEFA Euro 2012 Special from 15:00 to 16:00.

SER and Telecinco present the Road Show: ´Everybody with La Roja´

The big fanbase party in support of Spain´s national team will be headed by SER and Telecinco with their Road Show ´Everybody with ´La Roja´. Simultaneously in 19 different cities, all fans will be able to view the games live thanks to the images emitted by Telecinco and with the audio of Carrusel Deportivo. Before and after each match, the 40 Principales DJs will be in charge of the entertainment. 

All together, it will be a grand show celebrated in the cities of Valencia, Seville, Saragossa, Malaga, Tenerife, La Palmas, Gijon, Valladolid, Badajoz, Cordoba, Pamplona, Murcia, Santiago de Compostela, Palma de Mallorca, A Coruña, Albacete, Alicante, Granada and Cornellá, in every one of the games played by Spain´s national team.
