Vetusta Morla and Amaral triumph at the Rolling Stone Awards 2011

It's been a great year for Vetusta Morla. The band led by frontman Pucho has swept the board at the Rolling Stone Awards 2011, scooping two of the most important awards of the evening, (voted by readers of rollingstone.es): Group of the Year and Album of the Year for Mapas.

The other big winners were Amaral, who picked up their gong from Ivan Ferreiro and Zahara for Best Song of the Year: Hacia lo salvaje. .

The winners of the ROLLING STONE Awards 2011, presented by Joaquin Reyes and Ernesto Sevilla are:

- Lifetime in Rock Award: Luz Casal.

- Group of the Year: Vetusta Morla.

- Record of the Year: Vetusta Morla (Mapas).

- Song of the Year: Amaral (Hacia lo salvaje).

- Best New Act Award: Miss Caffeina.

- Rock Elegance Award: Sidonie.

- Solidarity Award: Miguel Bosé.

- Rolling Personality of the Year: José Coronado.

- Special Award Tribute: Enrique Morente.

- Tour of the Year: Lori Meyers.

- National Artist of the Year: Loquillo.
