Jorge Flo has been appointed Director of Music for Prisa Radio in the Americas in a move that will boost the development of digital and analog radio music products in the Americas. Flo will report to Prisa Radio’s Director of Music and manage the implementation of the company’s music formats in the U.S. Latino market.
Over the course of his career, Jorge Flo Villaseca (Madrid, 1960) has worked on "Radio El Pais", "Radio Minuto," "El Pais" and BMG. In 1998 he launched "40TV" the pioneering music TV channel in Spain, and he was later appointed Director of PRISA Radio’s music channels in Spain, where he has overseen the success of “40 Principales "" Cadena Dial "," M80 "," Maxima FM" and " Radiolé." During his 10-year tenure these channels consolidated and improved their positions.
Prisa Radio’s music channels in Spain will now be headed by the Director General of SER, Alejandro Nieto.
