PRISA Radio´s strategic need to better its internal processes and international coordination along with its will to reinforce its corporative structure during these complex times have moved theCEO, Javier Pons, to reorganize the company´s senior management, creating the position of Director-general of Resources and Finance, an equivalent to other already existing positions with the same name within Grupo Prisa.
The person to take on this responsibility is Antón Lazaro, a once a manager at Telefónica and other companies, who has a great deal of experience in system and operational financial areas in Spain and Latin-America. Lozaro is a Polytechnic University of Madrid naval engineer with a Master´s Degree in Economics and Business Administration (EMBA) from the IESE Business School at the University of Navarra. In this new position the areas of Administration and Finances, Management Control, Human Resources, Purchases and General Services of all of PRISA Radio´s companies will be under his responsibility, in coordination with each one of the corresponding Director-generals.
Other examples of responsibility that Antón Lozano has carried out throughout his career include being JPMorgan´s COO in Spain, Telefónica´s Assistant Director of Finances, Telefónica Brasil´s Financial and Management Control Vice-president and an administrator of t-gestiona (Telefónica´s group of shared societies). Up until his recent incorporation at PRISA Radio, he directed the financial and resource functions at the technological company Oesia and at the construction equipment rental company Hune, places where he headed debt restructuring, working with more than 40 financial entities.
