U.S. Presidential Election 2012 on PRISA Radio

PRISA Radio will today broadcast the widest Spanish-language radio coverage of the presidential elections in the U.S., an event of global significance. PRISA Radio will be offering all the news, analysis, data and expert opinion to its more than 9 million listeners.

Javier del Pino and Claudia Palacios will be responsible for all the special programming. There will be exclusive broadcasts to 8 countries through PRISA Radio’s network of stations in Argentina (Radio Continental), Chile (ADN Radio), Colombia (Radio Caracol and W Radio), Costa Rica (ADN Radio), USA (W Radio and Radio Caracol), Spain (SER), Mexico (W Radio) and Panama (Radio Panama). The program directors will be joined by a team of 26 special reporters and specialists in different U.S. cities.

 They’ll include Cecilia Munoz, the highest-ranking Hispanic official at the White House, David King, Senior Lecturer in Public Policy at The Harvard Kennedy School, Alan D. Salomont, U.S. Ambassador to Spain, Mark H. Lopez, associate director of the Pew Hispanic Center, Oscar Arias, former president of Costa Rica, Luis Lauredo, member of the Democrat party, Pilar Marrero, a writer and columnist for "La Opinion" in Los Angeles, Daniel Garza, executive director of "The Libre Initiative ", Gabriel Lerner, Editorial Director of HuffPost Voces (Huffington Post); Dulce Matud, member of Time magazine’s World's 100 Most Influential People, Gabriela Domezain, Hispanic media spokesperson for the Obama campaign; Ana Carbonell, adviser and Hispanic media spokesperson for the Romney campaign, Arianna Huffington, president and CEO of The Huffington Post Media Group, Daniel Ureña, electoral marketing expert, Ricardo Lagos, former President of Chile, Rosario Marin, former Treasurer in the Bush administration; Antonio Villaraigosa, the mayor of Los Angeles, the economists Jorge Suarez Velez, Juan Carlos Hidalgo and Alberto Bernal, Charles Lane, editorial writer for The Washington Post; and Henrik Rehbinder, editor of Grupo La Opinión.
