The press conference was attended by Sandra Rotondo, general manager for Music at PRISA Radio; Carlos Enrique Alonso Rodríguez, president of the Tenerife regional authority, and Juan Carlos Chaves, director of Music Channels at PRISA Radio Spain.

Cadena Dial stands out as the only station that focuses on music in Spanish".

Carlos Enrique Alonso expressed his satisfaction that the gala is to take place in Tenerife. "We will welcome, with open arms, 4,500 music fans to our island's Auditorium; it's going to be the hottest ticket in town and we'll be honoring Spanish-language music in the best place in the world."

Finally, Juan Carlos Chaves spoke of the buoyant performance of Cadena Dial. "Spanish-language music radio has overcome its growing pains to emerge both mature and confident, with its own personality and a clear vision for the future. Cadena Dial has witnessed the constant emergence of new music genres over the years and we've successfully kept up with them all".

Part of the proceeds from the gala will go to the Lares Foundation and its Hogar Santa Rita project.
