Xavier Pujol Tobeña is named Legal Director at PRISA RADIO and PRISA NOTICIAS

Xavier Pujol Tobeña has been appointed Director of the Legal Department of Prisa’s radio and news units  -- PRISA RADIO and PRISA NOTICIAS. Pujol holds a B.A. and a Masters in Law from ESADE, was a visiting student at the Faculty of Law at the University of Minnesota and completed the PLD program at IESE.

He began his career at Cuatrecasas, where he was a partner from 2003 to December 2006, including a period as secondee in the London office of Herbert Smith. Subsequently, he joined Latham & Watkins as a partner when the American firm opened its office in Spain in January 2007. He then worked at the London office in 2008. In 2013 he was appointed counsel at Latham & Watkins.

As a lawyer, he has advised on a broad range of corporate transactions in sectors such as energy, finance, telecommunications, infrastructure and new technologies. He also has extensive experience in corporate, corporate governance and financial restructurings.

He currently serves on the board of the Law Club of the ESADE Alumni Association, where he heads the Madrid section.
